Who We Are

At Troops 1195 (Boys) and 7195 (Girls), we are a vibrant and welcoming community of Scouts, leaders, and families dedicated to building future leaders through fun, adventure, and service. Our troops, chartered by Grace United Methodist Church in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, are part of the Three Trails District and Heart of America Council.

We believe that Scouting is for everyone. Whether you’re new to the journey or continuing your path, our troops foster an inclusive environment where every Scout is encouraged to grow, lead, and succeed. Our focus is on helping each Scout discover their potential, with kindness, respect, and teamwork as core values.

Through our diverse and exciting program—ranging from monthly campouts and high-adventure trips to community service projects and leadership opportunities—we ensure that each Scout has the chance to learn, explore, and make lasting friendships. We are incredibly proud of our track record, with over 20% of our Scouts achieving the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, a testament to our commitment to nurturing future leaders.

More than just earning badges, our Scouts develop life skills, confidence, and resilience, while having fun along the way. We believe that the best learning happens through experience, and we strive to provide meaningful adventures that challenge and inspire.
