About Us

Troops 1195 (Boys) and 7195 (Girls) are proud members of the Three Trails District and Heart of America Council, chartered by Grace United Methodist Church in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Our troops are built on a strong foundation of community, inclusivity, and adventure, welcoming all youth ready to explore the great outdoors and develop lifelong skills.

Since the formation of Troop 1195 in 1997 and Troop 7195 in 2019, we have prioritized Scout advancement, community service, and exciting outdoor adventures. Our Scouts are passionate about exploring new frontiers, developing leadership skills, and making lasting friendships.

Whether you’re just starting your Scouting journey as a kindergartener or joining as a high school student, there’s always room for you in our Scouting family. Cub Scout Pack 195, chartered in 1995, serves youth in grades K-5, introducing them to the values of Scouting in a fun and engaging way. Pack 195 is also chartered by Grace United Methodist Church and provides a welcoming environment for younger Scouts in the Lee’s Summit, MO area.

Troop 1195 boasts an impressive record of achievement, with over 20% of Scouts earning the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout—well above the national average. We take great pride in the dedication of our Scouts, many of whom continue to contribute as adult leaders, ensuring that future generations enjoy a high-quality Scouting program.

Monthly campouts are a core part of our program, offering opportunities for Scouts to connect with nature and each other. Our adventures have included local campouts, 10 days at Bartle Scout Reservation, the National Scout Jamboree, Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, The Summit Bechtel Reserve, and other high-adventure destinations. We encourage all Scouts, along with their families, to participate in these incredible experiences that foster personal growth and a love for the outdoors.
